Ten years after its debut, Good Girl by Carolina Herrera celebrates a decade of breaking codes, redefining femininity and transforming an audacious idea into one of the world’s most recognizable fragrance icons.
When Good Girl by Carolina Herrera was launched in 2016, it made an entrance that was difficult to ignore. From its provocative name and contrasting olfactive signature to its audacious stiletto-shaped bottle, every element challenged the conventions of fragrance. What began as an unexpected idea would soon become one of Carolina Herrera’s most distinctive creative signatures.
A decade later, the Good Girl stiletto has become much more than a fragrance bottle. It has evolved into a visual code for the Carolina Herrera universe, inspiring new fragrances, collector editions, fashion moments and experiences around the world. In 2024, Good Girl reached a defining milestone, becoming the #1 feminine fragrance line worldwide.
Breaking the codes from the very beginning
At the heart of Good Girl is the idea of duality: the belief that femininity cannot, and should not, be reduced to a single definition.
Created by perfumers Quentin Bisch and Louise Turner, Good Girl translates this idea into an olfactive signature built around contrasts. Jasmine sambac and creamy tuberose meet the warmth of roasted tonka bean and cocoa, creating a composition that is both luminous and addictive.
That same tension is captured in the bottle. Rather than creating a conventional fragrance flacon, Good Girl transformed one of fashion’s most recognizable objects, the high heel, into a perfume bottle.
The midnight-blue stiletto, finished with its sculptural golden heel, turned fragrance packaging into an expression of attitude. Even its details are rooted in the Carolina Herrera universe: the golden ribbed texture of the heel was inspired by the Art Deco architecture of New York, connecting the bottle to the city that has been at the heart of Carolina Herrera’s identity.
The result was more than a distinctive bottle. Instantly recognizable from its silhouette alone, the stiletto became a visual expression of confidence and modern femininity, and a defining symbol of the Carolina Herrera universe.
A decade later, the attitude remains the same: “It’s so good to be bad.”

From a bold idea to a global success
Recognition alone does not make an icon. Good Girl’s ability to remain relevant while continuously reinventing itself has been just as important to its story.
Since 2016, the original Good Girl has grown into an entire fragrance universe, while the stiletto has provided a recognizable canvas for experimentation. New interpretations, such as the powdery and floral Good Girl Blush, alongside collector editions, have continually reimagined the stiletto through different colours, finishes and olfactive signatures, without losing the silhouette that connects them all.
But its influence has extended beyond fragrance.
Karlie Kloss has been a longstanding part of Good Girl’s story as the fragrance’s ambassador. Having worked with Carolina Herrera since the early years of her career, Kloss has also become a lasting link between the brand’s fashion and beauty worlds.
For Fall 2026, that connection took a new form as the worlds of Carolina Herrera fashion and beauty came together through a Good Girl print developed for the runway collection, bringing one of the fragrance’s most recognizable codes into the brand’s fashion universe.
An icon that keeps evolving
For its tenth anniversary, Good Girl continues to build on the creative tension that defined it from the beginning.
The launch of Good Girl Jasmine Absolute opens a new chapter in the story, placing jasmine, a signature flower of the Carolina Herrera universe, at the centre of a new interpretation of the fragrance. Created to celebrate the anniversary, it brings a fresh perspective to the Good Girl signature while staying connected to the original idea of duality.
It is a fitting evolution for a fragrance whose identity has always been defined by contrast: good and bad, light and dark, strength and sensuality.
Over ten years, the fragrance has evolved, its universe has expanded, and its iconic stiletto has been continually reimagined. Yet the creative codes that made Good Girl instantly recognizable have remained.
Perhaps that is what makes an icon: not remaining unchanged, but becoming distinctive enough to change.
Ten years later, the Good Girl stiletto is still moving forward.
