PRADA

Established in 1913 as a leather and luxury goods company, today the founder’s granddaughter, Miuccia Prada, provides visionary creative direction for the house.

Prada succeeds by its multifaceted aspects: from fashion to fragrances, from the pursuit of excellence to a unique spirit of avant-gardism, from architecture to art.

All of these qualities work together to compose Prada’s engagement in the world of ideas and innovation, as the house has always considered fashion, luxury and style as an overarching project beyond the continuous production of clothes, shoes and bags.

Thought-provoking, unconventional, innovative: a strong identity marks every manifestation of Prada’s creativity.

A new adventure began with the Prada Olfactories collection (2015): ten “sensory fragments” designed to trigger the unconscious mind. The collection was enriched in 2016 with Les Mirages: oriental evocations of community, difference and futuristic travel.

Revealed in 2016, La Femme Prada and L’Homme Prada are the House’s quintessential fragrances. Composed of time-honored perfumery materials, they transport the wearer to a sensual nexus where male and female meet to consummate an aesthetic relationship. La Femme Prada Intense and L’Homme Prada Intense (2017) invite to discover new facets of the woman and man Prada.

In 2003, Prada launched a partnership with Puig to produce signature perfumes. Celebrations of exquisite materials and high craftsmanship, Prada fragrances are composed of time-honored materials employed in innovative ways, witness Prada Amber (2004) and Infusion d’Iris (2007), followed by Prada Candy (2011) and Prada Luna Rossa (2012). All have encountered international success.
